1. Underwater theme
Decorate your party area
which look like an under-sea area and most of the decoration should be with
shells and herbs and you can even shop for some under the sea party supplies
and surprise guests with magical mermaids or with all of your favorite marine
creatures. Just don’t forget to leave a little bit of room for mystery and adventure and also a giant octopus on
top! And now you are all set with an amazing party theme.
2. ABC (Anything but
clothes) theme
Wow! don't freak out at the
name of the party. It doesn’t mean everyone shows up in the buff. Instead, you
have to fashion an outfit out of materials other than clothing. ABC parties are
really fun, creative, cheap, and can lead to some really funny photos. This is
a party where the best outfit contest can held and turned to be really
creative. I have seen people wrapped in caution tape, maps, garbage bags, flags
and so on which make some very creative outfits.
3. Witches and Wizards Theme
Are you thinking of going
for witches and wizard theme then its pretty cool! Have white lights that give
the feeling of a moonlit night, brooms in a corner, jars of eyeballs and other spooky items on the buffet
table, and clay cups for drinks. Have your music system playing shrilly screams,
cackling laughter, and spooky chants at regular intervals. This will complete
your theme in itself. All your guests dressed as witches and wizards and if
someone watching this from a distance would really believe that this is a
communion of witches and wizards in one place.
4. Your Mum Party theme
Its time to feel different
in your mum cloths. Dress as your mum does be like her shadow which every girl
wish to do. It will be funny and sweet at the same time. Its different and for
which every girl would love to go. Just enjoy the theme and it will turn into
amazing pictures.
5. Black Light theme
This is a fun party idea,
especially if you’re a creative type. You have to swap out your regular light
bulbs for black light bulbs and ask all the guests to arrive in plain white tee
shirts that they don’t mind getting ruined. The fun part comes with highlighters,
which you can use to write and draw on each other’s shirts. When the black
lights are switched on, the writing will glow, and you can check out everyone
else’s artwork and it turn out to be very amazing.
6. The Berlin Wall party
Yes, it’s also the creative
one. This party needs to be in a venue that can be divided into two sections.
The first section is "the West" and the second one is "the East".
In the West, everybody can dress how they like and bring their own alcohol -
whatever they fancy. However, no sharing of alcohol is permitted and no
communal alcohol is provided. Everyone
has to really on their own supplies. In the East, everybody wears the same grey
tracksuits and a single brand of cheap beer is provided. People may not bring
their own drinks. So if anyone complains about the beer, they get removed from
the party and locked in a closet for 15 min. The party continues like this for
a few hours, after which the Wall is torn down - East and West merge and
everybody parties together.
7. Ugly sweaters theme
Want to try something
different and offbeat, then checkout ugly sweater theme and i am sure watching
you friends in those ugly old sweaters will blow your mind with laughter and
will be real fun. You can find these ugly sweaters in your grandma's closet and
enjoy this freaking funny party.
8. Bring a bottle and a
stranger
Oh! This one is my favorite.
The idea is really freaking. In this theme as the name says everyone have bring
a bottle of vodka or any drink and 1 person you don't know, these two rules are
compulsory. And just watch out what all the fun you have at the party.
9. Rubik’s Cube
Yaah! Its Rubik’s theme, as
party theme starts out simple, but quickly gets out of control. Here everyone
shows up wearing one item of clothing for each color on the Rubik’s cube (like
white, blue, red, green, orange, or yellow). Then, once you get to the party,
you can swap clothing items with other guests until you can create an outfit of
one solid color. Also accessories like gloves and hats make this process a lot
easier for you.
10. Toga theme
Oh yes, I know that its not
a new idea… In fact, it’s probably the oldest costume party idea in the books.
But still, would you really want to go through for years without attending at
least one toga party! May be its an old idea but its fun every time, and if you
still haven’t done its then now's the time! Do you know what’s the best part is
its cheap as pulling the bed sheet off your bed. So ask your guests to arrive
in toga costumes. Use gold and white colored decorations. Serve Greek dishes.
Use gold plastic cutlery tied with gold ribbon. Decorate with lots of candles.
